MESSAGE FROM THE EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

In the last year, continued dedication from our supporters has enabled the Italian Home for Children to:
  • Serve 402 children in crisis due to circumstances beyond their control.
  • Place almost 80% of our discharged children with a family.
  • Implement two new community-based programs which currently work with over 65 children in their homes and communities.
  • Enroll 17 children in our afterschool and summer camp programs.

2009 IHC Art Show

This past summer, Christine Hajjar, the Italian Home's art teacher, once again helped the children create more wonderful art in our annual Art Show. This year's theme was to use recycled materials and art supplies...and the creativity speaks for itself. Take a look at the artwork made by the creative children of the Italian Home.
