GET INVOLVED
At the Italian Home for Children, we are constantly in search of individuals who want to help us in our mission of caring for children in crisis. Your participation in any of our volunteer opportunities provides critical support to the Italian Home for Children. Serve on a committee for our golf tournament or one of our special events. Join our Rodman Ride for Kids initiative! Be a tutor. There are a number of ways you can help. At the Italian Home, we understand that it is only by working together that we can make a difference in the lives of children.

Rodman Ride for Kids
New England's largest charitable fundraiser for at-risk children, the Rodman Ride for Kids is a 25, 50, or 100-mile bike ride through Southeastern Massachusetts that benefits hundreds of children throughout the state. Volunteers are needed to solicit corporate support, field a team of riders, or assist with event day activities. Big Brothers/Big Sisters
A strong commitment is required to participate in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program. Individuals interested go through an intensive application and screening process with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Massachusetts Bay. Tutoring Program
 Tutors are needed to work with the children at the on-grounds Italian Home school, the Mary Savioli Pallotta Educational Center, to augment classroom and after-school club activities. Volunteers must have a strong commitment and be available between 9:00a.m. and 4:30p.m. Monday through Friday.
