Board of Advisors

We are seeking committed individuals who wish to serve as Ambassadors of the Italian Home for Children within their social and professional circles, acting as public relations advocates. Individuals must have a strong belief in our mission. Board of Advisors may be asked to:
-
Participate in political advocacy activities that would benefit the Home; -
Serve on committees of the Board or task forces at the request of the Board President; -
Serve as an advisor to the Board of Directors and staff of the Italian Home; -
Participate in a fundraising activity for the Italian Home and/or help identify donor prospects; -
Attend special meetings of the group when asked (twice per year); -
Attend Annual Meeting of the Italian Home.
Each Spring, the Italian Home for Children will host a reception for the Board of Advisors to welcome new members, keep Advisors apprised of happenings at the Italian Home, and provide an opportunity for staff members to meet and interact with both Board of Directors and Board of Advisors. For more information on the Board of Advisors, please contact Chipper Hoffman, Development Associate, at choffman@italianhome.org or 617-524-3116.
